Local Roots Restaurant
Enjoyed a absolutely wonderful dinner at Local Roots in Roanoke. From the moment we walked in the door, we were treated like royalty. Robin had Sirloin steak served with a blackberry BBQ sauce. Luke had a delicious Pasta dish with local vegetables. I had breast of Lamb served over Israeli Couscous with cucumbers and yogurt. Located in Grandin Village across from the fabled Roanoke Natural Food Coop. Local Roots operates under a philosophy that they call S.O.L.E.: Sustainable, Organic, Local, Ethical. Proprietor Diane Elliott has created a wonderful establishment which is truly a gem in the Roanoke restaurant scene.
