Diwali Dinner - Baingan Bharta with Masoor Dal


For Amavasya, the third day of the Indian festival of Diwali, Robin prepared a delicous Masoor Dal (Red Lentils) dish and Basmati Rice, which was cooking when i got home from work,  I then made Baingan Bharta (Eggplant with Tomato curry).  We served these dishes with methi Paratha (flatbread) and various chutneys.
