Friday Dinner - South Indian Dosai with Sambar


(I must admit, as my Dosas did not turn out as pretty as what is shown here in this photo, I borrowed this photo from www.microwaverecipescookbook.com.)

Dosa - Thin crepes made with fermented rice and dal batter. 
Sambar - a spicy stew made of pigeon peas, potatoes, carrots and tamarind.
